ROD QUANTOCK in BUGGER THE POLAR BEARS, THIS IS SERIOUS - Rod Quantock says, “If climate change doesn’t scare you shitless, then you don’t get the science.” Fortunately Rod does, and when he gives you his take on the physics, chemistry, biology, geology, paleontology, cosmology and meteorology of climate science you’ll get it too.

NICHOLAS ROY, RYAN MEEKING AND THE FEW and JESSICA PAIGE

Finally, delve deep into Nicholas Roy's innovative and intriguing mix of soul, electro and acoustic R&B.

ANNA's GO-GO ACADEMY - She's the Liszt of the Twist, the Debussy of the Watusi and the Christian Slater of the Mashed Potater: she's Miss Anna, and every Wednesday you'll find her tearing up the boards with a crowd of eager dancers.

Mr McClelland's FINISHING SCHOOL - If you'd rather dance at night in the disco light, the Finishing School will happily provide you with the beat to get you out of your seat... mind you, they don't muck around with the usual late-night gray wall-to-wall trance-and-house DJ routine - it takes place every other Friday night and it's a whooooole lot of fun.

We're also going to send a special shout-out this month to a Bella Union alumnus: the marvellous Felicity Ward is doing an Edinburgh fundraiser of her UGLY AS A CHILD VARIETY SHOW at the Toff In Town on July 21.
