Mr Jimmy
Mr Jimmy is a Melbourne band comprising three guitars, three vocals, five drums, four symbols, a high-hat and one double bass.
His intellectual base is the blues even though Mr Jimmy claims to be the most educated band in Australia: he has accumulated five bachelor Degrees, four with honours, two masters by Research, one PhD completed and three in progress during 39 years of higher education. He has never received a formal qualification in music, though he has passed a diploma in contemporary music production and promotion.
He is James Field, Yoni Molad, Jason Freddi, Alex Rogowski and Stephen Pascoe. His first album, Songs About Other People, received extended airplay across Triple R and PBS FM. He continues to play folk music at Melbourne venues and regional centres.
This stage presentation is an opportunity to hear him without over-amplification.
