New Ballroom

The New Ballroom is a multi-purpose space that is available for hire all year round. It is suitable for theatrical productions, musical performances and functions.

The standard configuration for Bella Union programmed festival seasons allows for seating for up to 200 people on a combination of on-floor and raked seat. 

The performance area / stage has the following key dimensions:

Depth of 2.4m
Width of 4.8m.
Height 0.60m.

Height from floor to lighting rig is 4.8m.

The stage area is dressed in drapes and stage flats to create backstage space on both sides and back of the stage.

There is also a small dressing room accessible from back of stage.

Removal of all chairs from the venue increases the capacity to 250 people (standing room only)

Bella Union's venue package for festival productions includes a base sound and lighting rig, Front of House and a technical stage manager who is assigned to manage the performance space through-out the season, as well as operate shows.

Indicative venue charges for 2010 Fringe Festival are $600.00 (plus GST) per performance.
