The album wraps it self around honest, personal experiences and that’s never so evident than in Candystore. "I had wanted to write about this for over 10 years. Finally I found a way to address the very personal issue of this particular madness and addiction in a playful way. The lyrics wrote themselves on a short train ride one day and the ukulele wrapped itself around them effortlessly"

The 45-minute album features eight freshly penned Abbie originals of which she’s extremely proud. 52 Pick Up was inspired by a friend that always complains and who chooses to see his glass half empty rather than half full. “It’s an invitation for him to throw his cards down just like the card game 52 pick up and start again with a whole new hand’.
